Dairy Queen In Kennett
We had a chance to blow and I do mean blow some cash Sunday for lunch. We had been bombed with commercials about how great certain menu items were, and it was strongly suggested we take a field trip to Kennett, to Dairy Queen. Once we arrived we were met by a young lady eager to take our order. Well it goes downhill from there. Only one thing I love more than bubble chewing bubble popping smart mouthed teenagers, and that is a bad case of dry heaves. First some loud mouth teenager came from the back and chewed out the young lady waiting on us, after we had received our change for the items ordered, it cashier was ordered to collect another sum of money because their management was too lazy to reprogram the computer system and it was giving incorrect item prices. Then why in the hell would I order three lunches, BASKET DEALS if I didn't want the drinks too, to make a long story short according to them I didn't order the third drink, even tho the bubble gum popper working the soda controls had three cups there, and we had been informed that they didn't stock the drink we requested. We wonder why our local business are haveing difficulties, well why not send in a hidden shopper and see. Make a couple odd requests from the menu, or ask for something just a little out of the ordinary. See what really happens, also sit in the dining room and watch and listen to your ace workers making fun of folks attempting to order thru your ancient order microphone where you can hear a pin drop 300 feet away but can't hear the order from your customer. Last money from my pocket going there.
